Dancers shine at Miss Sienna’s Summer Recital
Families and friends applauded enthusiastically as dancers took to the stage for Miss Sienna’s Summer Dance Recital, showcasing a variety of ballet and tap routines. The evening was held at the Glenboro Community Hall and was a wonderful celebration of another successful season of dance.
From the youngest performers to the more experienced dancers, each routine reflected the students’ commitment to practicing their craft throughout the year.
The evening opened with the five- and six-year-olds tapping to One Jump Ahead. Their performance was followed by the three- and four-year-olds, who delighted the audience with an energetic tap routine to I Just Can’t Wait to Be King.
Returning to the stage, the five- and six-year-old group demonstrated their grace as they danced to When Will My Life Begin, while the three- and four-year-olds charmed the audience with A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes.
A highlight of the evening was Isabelle Remillard’s outstanding solo modern dance performance to CTRL + ALT + Delete, which earned enthusiastic applause from the appreciative crowd.
The recital marked the culmination of a season spent building skills, confidence, and friendships. For the young performers, stepping onto the stage represented a personal milestone, and their excitement was evident from the opening number to the final bow and group photo with their teacher, Sienna Jarvis.
Parents, grand-parents, and friends filled the venue, cheering on every dancer and capturing memories that will be treasured for years to come.
Bouquets of colourful fresh flowers and congratulatory hugs filled the room as the evening drew to a close.
Congratulations to Miss Sienna and all of her aspiring dancers on a wonderful evening of entertainment and for sharing the joy of dance with the community.
