Spirit Sands Medical Clinic nearing completion

RM of Glenboro-South Cypress Councillor Dale Fisher shared some exciting news about the Spirit Sands Medical Clinic.

“We are getting close to completion! Currently, the installation of IT services is underway, and I must admit, the number of wires connecting all the various pieces of equipment is mind-boggling. However, our technical experts have everything under control. We have also installed our donor board on the wall as you enter the clinic, and it looks fantastic! All the furnishings have been ordered and are scheduled to arrive either this week or next. Installing the furniture will make a dramatic difference in the space.

“Recently, we held a meeting with our Nurse Practitioner and the two doctors to discuss their upcoming transition to the new clinic, and they are all excited that moving day is approaching.”

You may recall that the groundbreaking ceremony for the Spirit Sands Medical Clinic took place on April 29, 2025. At that time, Alexis Einerson expressed hope that the clinic could open within the next year, and here we are on the eve of its opening!

The community has truly stepped up, and everyone has come together to bring the clinic to its current stage.

We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
