New picnic shelter at Happyland Campground
The Rural Municipality of Prairie Lakes is thrilled to announce the addition of the new picnic shelter currently under construction in the Happyland Campground.
This project has been made possible by a substantial $12,175 donation through the Central Assiniboine Water District.
The installation is almost completed, with the pouring of a cement pad to be done before the end of September.
The council strategically chose the location at Happyland Campground to ensure the new facility is easily accessible to both residents, visitors, and campground guests, allowing for community events to take place and creating memorable moments along the picturesque shores of Pelican Lake.
This valuable amenity will significantly enhance day use at Pelican Lake, providing an ideal space for campers and picnickers alike to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
The RM of Prairie Lakes expresses sincere appreciation to everyone who donates and supports projects within the municipality.
