Baldur Sunrise Credit Union fundraises $5000 for STARS
The Baldur Sunrise Credit Union hosted yet another spectacular fundraiser BBQ lunch on Friday the 13th, and it was an undeniable success! The turnout was incredible, proving just how popular these events are.
We spoke with Loans Office, Kristin Devloo about the event.
“We served 135 meals,” exclaimed Kristin Devloo, Loan Officer at the Baldur branch. “We also had a progressive 50/50, with the pot reaching $6,570.00 before the draw. The lucky winner was Eleanor Dearsley, who took home a whopping $3,285.00.”
Kristin went on to share,” We are excited to be able to donate $5,000.00 to STARS. We would like to thank everyone for supporting our fundraiser through buying tickets or coming for lunch. Without you all, we couldn’t have made this fundraiser as successful as it was.”
