Firemans breakfast a fantastic success
The Glenboro-South Cypress Fire Department hosted its annual breakfast on March 22nd, and it was a fantastic success! The volunteer members of the department are not only fearless firefighters but also excellent cooks.
The steaks were grilled to perfection, while the bacon was delightfully crispy. Paired with piping hot hash browns, toast and eggs, along with fresh, steaming coffee, the meal was truly exceptional.
The large crowd in attendance and the long line of people coming in proved that everyone anticipated a great experience and they were not disappointed.
Chief Steve Nelson noted that while the final totals have not yet been calculated, “early indications are that this year’s breakfast was the most successful to date!”
Steve went on to share that the funds raised from this event will be used to update equipment.
Everyone in the department is extremely grateful for the support shown not only by our community, but also by members from surrounding areas.
We will share the final totals with our readers as soon as they are available.
Congratulations to the Glenboro-South Cypress Fire Department on another very successful event!
