Mariapolis Recreation Centre hold fantastic fundraiser to preserve their facilities
On the evening of Friday, March 21, the Mariapolis Recreation Centre came alive with energy and excitement during a remarkable fundraiser, building on the success of a similar event held in January 2023.
A dedicated team of enthusiastic volunteers worked tirelessly to craft an unforgettable experience for all in attendance. The event featured a rainbow auction, silent auction, live auction and a 50/50 draw, ensuring there was never a dull moment.
Adding to the party atmosphere, Ivan and Louise from Gateway Getaway tantalized the crowd with their renowned pizza by the slice. With its perfect blend of crispy crust, savoury toppings, and gooey cheese; it’s no wonder attendees raved about their pizza, declaring it the best!
The fundraiser drew not only the friendly faces of Mariapolis residents but also welcomed guests from neighbouring towns, fostering a sense of unity and connection.
Organizer Janet Desrochers mentioned that details regarding the event’s final outcomes and totals were not yet available, so we will be sharing that information in our next edition, so be sure to keep an eye out for that!
