Spruce Woods Park is a place that everyone can enjoy no matter what the season.
If you are looking for the perfect spot to go with your family, friends, your favourite winter loving fur baby, or just yourself, you don’t have to go any further than Spruce Woods Provincial Park.
The winter recreation centre is a prime activity spot with skating ice, a hockey rink, and an area for curling. Warming shelters and washrooms are also on sight. Bring lunch and make a day of it.
Multiple spots in the Park have hills for some very exciting tobogganing adventures allowing you to make memories that last a lifetime.
Hunting for a sledders paradise? With many long trails featuring washrooms and warming hut stops, you don’t have to look any further.
Do you love snowshoeing, cross country skiing, or ski-joring? They have you covered with the most picturesque scenery for those one of a kind photo shoots. Pack up some drinks and snacks and spend the day in the great outdoors, and don’t worry, there are multiple rest stops on the way if you feel the need.
Guided tours, information sessions and ski clinics are also some of the many activities happening at the Park.
The Interpretive Centre is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. (closed January 25 and 26).
