Pelican Lake Ag. Society Fair receives rave reviews

The Pelican Lake Ag Society hit the mark with their 2024 Ninette Fair!

We caught up with organizer Bryan Podworny who exclaimed; “it was a fantastic weekend from beginning to end.”

The organizers wanted to host a family friendly event that all ages could enjoy and they hit the mark.

Bryan went on to say that everyone involved stepped up and made the weekend unforgettable. “The excitement that was sparked and grew during the planning stages carried through, and kept growing throughout the Fair.”

When asked about the most memorable parts of the weekend, Bryan admitted, “there were so many, I don’t think I can pick just one. The high point of Friday was watching the old time competitions we had, like the three legged race, egg on a spoon and the egg toss. There was so much laughter and everyone had such a good time. All ages and every generation had fun – it was just good wholesome fun. Even the spectators at the games were smiling and enjoying the merriment. It was just so great to see.”

Bryan settled on his top three for the weekend: “Number three for me was the gymkhana, it was great to see and we had so many entries. Number two I would have to say was the cattle, and number one was the Saturday night social with everyone having the greatest time ever. The band was fantastic and the crowd was loving the music. So many people were up dancing, the smiles and laughter were so great to see!”

Turtle Mountain MLA Doyle Piwniuk who was in attendance extended his kudos to the organizers of the 2024 Ninette Fair. “It was great to be able to attend, I met so many people and heard so many positive comments. The organizers outdid themselves.”

Everyone in attendance gave the event rave reviews.

Congratulations on a job well done!
