2024 Sunshine Highway Relic Run a huge hit
A large group of onlookers gathered together to enjoy the arrival of the many vehicles taking part in the 2024 Sunshine Highway Relic Run.
Coffee, cookies and freshly made ponnukokur were enjoyed by all!

It is so nice to be able to join others for coffee on our front street and just watch the happenings as they unfold.
Events like this are a great boost for our community.
The new highway has allowed events like this to happen. There is so much more traffic travelling through our town now that the highway is finished. 7 years ago we missed a Harley Davidson tour with many participants because the highway was a mess. Now, I am thinking we are going to be seeing more groups like that enjoying their ride, stopping in Baldur and just enjoying our town.
Nice to have an event and have everyone involved. So many people have come out for this.
We spoke briefly with Brenda Gudnason, a member of the Argyle Museum Committee who, with Randy Desrochers, organized the Baldur stop on the tour. ‘Each town the Relic Run participants stop at, put together their own meet and greet.’
‘We hope that events like this bring people to Baldur to stop, look and come back!’
When the participants began rolling into town with their four wheeled beauties they were greeted with a sea of beaming smiles and hearty waves!
