Aggie Bed Push raising money for STARS

The annual University of Manitoba Aggie Bed Push visited several towns this weekend, doing a fantastic job of raising funds for STARS.

We stopped at Mariapolis to see what the town had planned for the arrival of the Bed Push group.

Stationed at the Mariapolis Friendship Centre were a group of very excited people ready and waiting.

Water and granola bars donated by Co-op and ice cream donated by Gateway Getaway were available to the crowd for a donation to the Bed Push event.

Those in attendance were thrilled to be there and there were so many positive comments: “Supporting STARS is a win for everyone. You never know when you may need them and active fundraising ensures that STARS will stay available to everyone.”

“It is wonderful to have an event like this in our town”

“We are so happy to have a great new highway allowing us to now welcome groups to our town.”

“Having the annual Aggie Bed Push coming through really helps advertise our town, and it gets people out. This is the first time this event has come to our town and it is so great to see our community come together.”

Every town the annual Aggie Bed Push visited fully embraced and supported the group and their fundraising efforts and we are all grateful for their dedication.

Thank you to the Aggie Bed Push team and to all the towns who welcomed them.
