Lots to discover at your local Christmas Craft Sales

The season is filled with Christmas craft sales that host an enormous variety of items.

If you are looking for that one of a kind gift for that person that has everything, or you want to treat yourself,Christmas craft sales are the place to go.

In recent weeks the writer has been able to attend several of these events, and there is always a ‘must have’ that has been found!.

Luxurious hand knit alpaca fibre socks that are not only soft, supple and able to withstand wear and tear, they are also fiercely warm and feather light. They are a perfect addition against the cold in work boots or for keeping cold toes warm while curling up in front of the tv. The hats, scarves and mitts available in a rainbow of colours are also ready to complete your cold weather accessory needs.

Aches, pains, dry skin and other minor issues caused by the voracious winter wind and cold that we annually battle may be alleviated by one of the many hand crafted, naturopathic remedies available.

Enjoy naturally scented and unscented muscle soothing bath bombs, sugar based, moisturizing hand and foot scrubs and so many other nature based creams and lotions.

If you think you don’t have time to spoil your family with beautifully decorated artisan bread, loaded trays of bars and cookies, loaves, cakes, cocoa bombs, and other treats, guess again! Local food artists take the work out of seasonal delicacies allowing you to spoil your family and friends.

Gluten free options are becoming a more common addition to craft sale baking tables. We found a baker who hosts only gluten free baking, and if you think you can tell the difference between the divine gluten free and regular treats, you would be wrong.

You will find tables filled with knitted and crocheted items too numerous to mention, hand poured candles, one of a kind paintings, unique stocking stuffers and an enormous variety of Christmas wreaths, stockings, decorations and ornaments.

All this and so much more to discover at your local Christmas Craft Sales.

When you visit a sale, take your time, peruse and enjoy.

It is easy to get caught up and stressed out in the whirlwind of this busy season and sometimes we have to remind ourselves to slow down and enjoy ourselves.
