Blair and Bobbi Rankin are third generation Hereford breeders and, looking at the picture of their cattle, it isn’t hard to see that their animals are a pretty close to the perfect Hereford specimen!
The Rankins are meticulous record keepers and can trace the ancestry of their cattle way back. In fact, Blair said that they still have animals in their herd whose lineage is traced back to Blair’s grandfather’s herd from animals that Blair’s father bought when there was a dispersal sale at Blair’s Grandfather, (that is at least 6-8 generations).
